What is a pitch deck outline?
A pitch deck outline is a structured framework for creating a visual presentation that pitches your services, approach, or creative direction to a potential client. It maps out the key slides and talking points before you start designing.
Starting with an outline saves time. Instead of designing 20 slides and realising the story doesn't flow, you nail the structure first, then make it look good.
When should you use one?
When you're presenting to a client in a meeting or pitch scenario - competing for a project, presenting a creative direction, or pitching a strategic recommendation.
What's included
Cover slide - project name, your name and brand, client name, and date.
The problem - what the client is dealing with. Show them you understand their world before jumping to solutions.
Your approach - how you'd tackle the problem. Your methodology, process, or creative direction.
Proposed solution - the specific deliverables or strategy you're recommending.
Timeline and investment - when it'll be done and how much it'll cost. Keep this clear and visual.
Why you - relevant experience, past work, and what sets you apart.
